It’s not hard to see why aligners are so popular – they are discreet, removable – and get great fast results for certain simple tooth movements.

SureSmile aligners straighten teeth using a sequence of transparent aligners. You’ll need to wear each set of aligners for one to two weeks, for at least 22 hours a day.

Your treatment will be carefully planned by your dentist, using SureSmile’s state-of-the-art treatment planning software. Digital impressions are taken with a scanner to produce a 3D model of your teeth, which can be analysed by your treating dentist to check the precise movement of each tooth in detail. Your optimal and customised treatment plan is determined, and a series of aligners made to move your teeth little by little. From the start, we can show you how your smile will evolve and your projected outcome.

We’ll see you every 6–10 weeks to check your progress and provide you with your next sequence of aligners. We may need to fit small tooth-coloured attachments to certain teeth during your treatment.

Your aligners will use these as anchor points to achieve trickier movements. They’re inconspicuous and easy to remove at the end of your treatment.
When you reach the end of your treatment, you’ll get those all-important retainers to keep your smile looking amazing. You’ll need to wear them indefinitely to prevent your teeth from moving, and this can be combined with tooth whitening to give you the smile you’ve always dreamed of.
