Hygienist Appointments

Regular visits to our dental hygienist team are a large part in providing preventive dental care to ensure you keep your teeth for life. Our dental hygienists will assess your gums and your brushing techniques. They will treat gum disease when present and give advice for maintenance between visits.

Good oral hygiene methods are different from person to person and your hygienist will provide you with a personalised hygiene plan to keep your teeth and gums free of plaque and minimise the impact of gum disease.

For more complex gum problems and more advanced gum disease your dental hygienist will work closely with your dentist to ensure you receive the right care and if further treatment is required this can be provided.

Our dental hygienists can also provide tooth decay preventive treatments such as fluoride applications and fissure sealants and they can also provide tooth whitening treatments.
